JEEZ. This was a hefty little project to work on - the canvas size was way bigger than what I've usually worked with ^^"

Drawn on SAI. Pen and Blur tools mostly - a bit of use of the Brush and Air Brush tools as well :)

I'm quite proud of the result of this one :D

Who Shadow is pointing the gun at is up to your imaginations.
GUN, Eggman, some demon or monster - who knows.

i love the depth and meaning shadz is givin to sonic.Also i like beacause of the fact i was listening to 'never too late'by 3 days grace when seein this.the sharp tooth on shadz is awesome and this picture has some AWESOME details.Also i like that shadow is stradlin sonic in his hands which i belevie he is dead.(correct me if im wrong)shadow has some tears of worry in his eyes which I like,this is how he shows his effection to sonic.I like to belive that G.U.N. is the cause of this mess.All in all i think this is one amazing Sonadow picture.

I will admit, I am not a big fan of yaoi ships but when I saw this... This made me fall in love with Sonadow.

I love how you made Shadow's rings glow giving him that: "I am about to kill you and bury you in a closet" Sort of look. The rings lighting up indeed showed how he is the 'ultimate life'

I really like the l guess could say sparkle on the gun. It makes it look new gun actually :P

After looking at many posters, fan art, and real 3D images of Shadow, I can see where you got the fang but in my opinion its a big large.

I like how Sonic is sort of cringing/dying, although I don't quite understand how this happened. I mean, Shadow actually kills Sonic in Shadow the Hedgehog in an alternate ending.

I like how you smudged the dirt and blood together to show it got very rough.

That's really all I have to say other then this is a lovely piece of artwork.

I don't normally browse Sonadow art, I like the pairing, but I rarely do anything -with- that liking... but WOW, this picture is gorgeous. I miss the fandom right now.

I get the feeling Sonic isn't dead but definitely battered enough that he's helpless... and I don't know if it's intentional, but I can't help thinking, if Shadow is resorting to firearms for defense instead of Chaos attacks, it means he's already out of power himself, making this a desperate last stand.
Either way, he knows he's cornered /outnumbered, but his entire body up to his eyes says whoever it is won't get Sonic unless they pry him from Shadow's dead hands.
All the detail, perspective and body language works together, and it hits immediately when looking at the picture.

(I spontaneously think of GUN, since I have ideas of Sonic getting on their black list because he's considered a liability for a few reasons, and has powers /skills they want, but doesn't play by their rules. A few of my fic ideas center around Shadow not taking Sonic in when he could; this would be that idea driven to its extreme.)

(let's just say, to illustrate the impact of it, there's probably details that could be fixed, there always is, like his left leg could be thicker, and whatnot but I don't really see them because I'm busy reading it like a story over and over again. <3 )
